To maximise student achievement, we believe it is critical to incorporate critical coaching techniques into our lessons. Key psychological principles, such as active revision and memory techniques, are implemented.

When you join the Explore Apollo family, you will get hands-on help from our team. We will send you regular updates and feedback on your child's progression. You will also be provided with a personalised service, who you can contact at any time. Each student receives an individually tailored lesson booklet prior to each lesson.

Our tutors are all experienced and knowledgeable on the English national curriculum and exam specification.

All our tutors are enhanced DBS checked and have the appropriate safeguarding training.

Finn had been helping my 11 year old with his English ready for his SATS. While he’s a bit of a Maths and Science whizz he has always lack enjoyment and confidence in English so was struggling somewhat.

My son has enjoyed working with Finn, he finds him fun and interesting and at the same time is clearly taking on board what he has been teaching him. He will now off his own back pick a word of the day to try and expand his vocabulary. In a recent parents evening I was told that his new found confidence in English is clear and that he is now getting more involved in class lessons rather than shying away and bumbling through. His quality of written work and correct use of punctuation has also come along a lot of the past few months. His teacher commented that the tutoring has certainly given him a boost and she expects him to go in and do well in his exams now.

Thank you very much Finn, if I ever need a tutor for either of the boys in future you’ll be my first choice.

He told us the truth about where are daughter was at with her studies, which we really needed to hear. I am sure she will do great in her exams because of the extra supported provided by the team. We can support your child with English, maths, and science throughout the crucial years of secondary school. To ensure progress, we provide your child with personalised lessons tailored to their needs. Prior to each lesson, each student receives an individually tailored lesson booklet. We believe that having the key fundamental skills will allow your child to continue progressing and academically achieving in preparation for their GCSEs. We teach all our students active revision techniques and assist them in organising their knowledge for exam practice, making use of the Knowledge organisers we provide!

Explore apollo tuition offers both foundation and higher maths tuition. We also provide GCSE additional maths tuition. For GCSE science, we can help with both triple and combined science tuition. For GCSE English we can support your child with English literature and language tuition.

Explore Apollo tuition provides selective A-level tuition for selective exam boards only. This is because we want to provide the best service possible, by ensuring that our subject specialists fully understand the specification!

Many students find the transition from GCSE to A-level very challenging, with it being a big step up in both content and difficultly. To ensure progress, we will provide your child with personalised lessons that are tailored to their specific needs. We provide a carefully structured plan for our A-Level students to allow them to have both the knowledge and exam skills. Our specialists ensure that the demanding specifications are thoroughly covered, this allows our students achieve the best possible results in their exams.
